Richard Cascio, M.D., received his Doctorate of Medicine from St. George's University School of Medicine, Grenada, W.I.. He completed his medical training in Internal Medicine at St. John Hospital, Detroit, MI and Detroit Medical Center, WSU, Detroit, MI. His fellowship training was completed at the University of Rochester, Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NY.

Dr. Cascio is Board Certified in Gastroenterology. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Gastroenterological Association, American College of Gastroenterology and the Wayne County Medical Society.

Dr. Cascio practices at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, MI, at Beaumont Gross Pointe Hospital in Grosse Pointe, MI, and at the Eastside Endoscopy Center in St. Clair Shores and Macomb Township, MI. His main office practice is located at G.I. Medicine Associates, P.C. in St. Clair Shores, MI.
